Yes, Verizon does offer coverage in Alaska

So, like so many folks today, I was a little worried about being out of 'touch' while in Alaska. No worries. I checked out the Verizon map and we're covered in Anchorage, Soldatna and most of Denali ... probably not the glaciers. You can take a look here:

    Yes, but in specific sites, who knows! Every summer in Maine at an artist retreat, I had to get into my car and drive a few miles to talk to Joe...and we were not in the boondocks. Hope rings eternal, however.
